Hi John,

Yes thanks for that. My Dads cousin who had been doing a lot of work with our family tree unfortunately passed away last month. At this stage I’m not sure the sources of his research.

Melva James is my grandmother.
This is the Titheridge branch I have:

John Titheridge, 1710-1767, Hampshire England
Had son
William Titheridge, 1743-?, Hampshire England
Had son
William Titheridge 1772-1852, England,Died USA?
Had son
Richard Titheridge 1809-1891, Droxford England
Had son
Frederick Titheridge, 1842-1914, England, died NSW Australia
Had son
Leonard Titheridge 1890-1968, Peak Hill Aus

Leonard Titheridge was Melvas father.

It looks like it is Frederick who made the move to Australia in the mid 1800s, while some siblings made their way to America?

Let me know if you have any conflicting information. I don’t have much to work this.

Many Thanks,

Allison James

Hello,

I’m wondering if this email address is still active?

My name is Allison James and my grandmother’s name was Melva Titheridge.
My 7th great grandfather was William Titheridge (b1674). I was very interested to find your webpage.
My family, the Titheridge side, have lived in NSW Australia since the mid 1800s. I am fascinated to know your people moves to America. We do not know why/how the Titheridges came all the way to Australia at that time. Very interesting.

Allison James
